Win A Prom Outfit Tailor Made For Your Gender Expression

The Love Fellowship picks one teen a year to receive a prom outfit to match their gender identity.

In 2015, 17 year old honor student Claudetteia Love was told by her high school principal that she was not allowed to wear a tuxedo to her senior prom.

The comments led to an outpour of support, from Love’s classmates and across the country, and ultimately she was allowed to wear her tux. She stated previously that the “outpouring of support has been incredible and inspiring; it is a source of strength that I will keep with me as I move on to the next phase of my education and life beyond high school.”

Now, one teen has the opportunity to win a designer prom outfit that will be tailor made for their unique gender expression.

The Love Fellowship is an organization that “celebrates the inclusion of all gender expressions.” Inspired by Claudetteia’s story, The Love Fellowship wants to help more students feel comfortable at their prom.

To be considered for the Fellowship, simply submit a video explaining why having a unique gender expression is important and what a dream prom outfit would look like. The fellowship is open to any United States high school teens that plan on attending prom but videos must be submitted by February 15th to be considered.
