The event will raise funds to benefit programs and services for lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender people.
Save the date! New York City’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center will host Women’s Event on November 5 at 7PM.
The Center helps members of the LGBT community to live healthy and successful lives by offering health and wellness programs, as well as arts, entertainment, and cultural events and support services for recovery, wellness, parenthood and family support.
In addition, the Center advocates for justice and opportunities while celebrating diversity.
Women’s Event will raise funds that directly benefit The Center’s many programs and services for lesbians, bisexual women and transgender people. These programs include addressing women’s economic empowerment, poverty in the transgender community, and substance use among youth throughout the nation’s first outpatient treatment program that is specifically designed for LGBTQ youths and young adults.
The evening will be held at Capitale and will consist of cocktails, dinner and dancing to celebrate the women in the community who are making a difference.
