Your Guide To Getting The Ultimate Queersperience At Lower East Side Film Festival

The Lower East Side Film Festival has plenty of screenings for the queer viewer.

The Lower Manhattan festival is a part of the New York Summer furniture, serving as a platform for today’s most talented aspiring filmmakers, and as an unmissable event in the summer calendar.

This year, LESFF is pulling out the goods for LGBT storytelling, with screenings of the best from NewFest, New York’s annual LGBTQI film festival.

The screening will be held at Sunshine Cinema, on E. Houston St at 9pm, offering free wine and beer for viewers (thank you very much).

In addition, closing night of the festival on June 15 at Sunshine will feature a stunning documentary, Mermaids, which follows five women, one of them trans, as they dive into the mythical and compelling world of mermaids.
