ROW 2-RENEÉ RAPP, AJ HIKES, HANNAH EINBINDER, MELISSA KING, KATY O’BRIAN,

An annual, publicly-nominated list of impactful LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary changemakers is crucial in current times to counter discrimination, legislative rollbacks, hostility, and the invisibility of queer women within mainstream and marginal spaces and endeavors. Such a list also fosters encouragement and solidarity, and elevates voices and achievements—from high-profile roles to underappreciated areas of life.

As a highlight of Lesbian Visibility Week 2026, the Curve Power List celebrates LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary individuals in North America who are blazing trails in their chosen
fields. From sports and entertainment icons to corporate leaders and lawmakers, these individuals are breaking barriers, challenging norms, and shaping the future.

Creating this list is no small task, but it is always inspiring and enriching. Nominations for the Curve Power List come from the community: peers, mentors, fans, and employers. Once again, we received a wealth of nominations, and our final selections were made through a collective voting system of invited peers and past winners. A heartfelt thank you to this year’s panel of judges: A. Sparks, Ally Donnelly, Anna DeShawn, Cheryl Dunye, Christa Rose, Christy O’Gaughan, Cindy Wong, Ella Song, Emily Shilling, Erica Rose, Erica Webber, Gail Frederick, Guilliana Cubillos, Hadley Green, Imani Rupert-Gordon, Jae Riley, Jenny Nguyen, Jillian Hiscock, Julie Eddleman, Kelly Moffat, Laila Annmarie Stevens, Lauren Zimmerman, Maia McDonald, Marx Cassity, Mary Frances McGowan, Megan Danitz, Merryn Johns, Robin Goldberg, Savannah Ray Hugueley, Shelly Breen, and Taylor Bruck. These judges participated in select categories, ensuring each category was thoroughly considered.

A special recognition to our incredible and dedicated Curve Power List Fact-Checking & Research Interns, Ella Song and Guilliana Cubillos, who were vital to the process from start to finish.

While this year’s list reflects outstanding achievements, many of those nominated are deserving of recognition. If your nominee didn’t make this year’s final list, please nominate them again next year! The call for nominations opens at the end of the year.

Join us in congratulating these powerful individuals, and please celebrate them this Lesbian Visibility Week and all year round.
