Pressing for change with a 24-hour, all female-led broadcast 🎶
After a year of revelations about huge pay differences between men and women at the BBC and increasingly low numbers of women in the highest positions, Reform Radio is looking to dispel any notion that this talent doesn’t exist or isn't worthy of equal treatment.
The multi award winning online station will present a trailblazing, 24-hour broadcast in celebration of International Women’s Day 2018. With the takeover set to take place on the 8 March, lasting through the day and night, and bringing you the best female talent the station has to offer.

Across the 24 hours, there’ll be appearances from singer-songwriter Mica Millar, considered one of the best vocalists in the UK by BBC Introducing. Producer, presenter coach, entrepreneur, and mother Kate Cocker talks about the The Women Who Made Me, and art collective Raised By Feminists will bring awareness to some of the most hard hitting issues affecting women today.
Also on the bill, is homegrown all-female Mancunian rock band PINS, a plethora of international shows and mixes from Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil, and Kate O’Donnell will host a special panel show, talking to DJ Paulette and multi-award winning writer and performer Jackie Hagan about the boxes they have often found themselves in.
