The fest will cover a myriad of pressing feminist issues in film-form, panel discussions, and filmmaker Q&As.
Here are just some of the highlights…
FATMA 75 (60 mins)
A perfect opportunity to see Salma Bacaar’s 1975 film FATMA 75 on the big screen! It’s the first non-fiction film by a woman from Tunisia, following university student Fatma’s quest to give a voice to the powerful and iconic women of history.

DYKE JAILS (65 mins)
A feminist voyage into the complex, plural and political narratives of lesbianism, Cecilia Montagut’s documentary flips the male gaze on its head, uncovering women’s resistance and relationships behind prison bars.
GENDER TROUBLES: THE BUTCHES (54 mins)
Lisa Plourde’s refreshing film challenges societal expectations of what it means to be a woman, and celebrates women (who love women) that are butch.
BITTER SEA (15 mins)
Fateme Ahmadi’s short, which has premiered at the London Short Film Festival LSFF and Oscar Short Shorts Film Festival in Tokyo, chronicles the journey of an immigrant single mother in London as she battles to keep her home and job.
WOMEN & POWER (2 mins)
Inspired by Mary Beard’s book Women and Power: A Manifesto, this short 2D animation examines what happens when women exert power in a patriarchal world.
