Introducing: The F Word & Friends

The ultimate gals night dedicated to promoting gender equality in the music industry °Å¸Å½°

Get ready for the ultimate girls (and bois) night as The F Word, a platform dedicated to promoting gender equality in the music industry, brings you a powerful line-up of emerging female artists to the Roundhouse as part of their Rising Presents series of new music.

This gig is one of 100 events aiming at raising £100,000 to support grassroots music venues in association with Fightback, the public fundraising arm of the UK registered charity Music Venue Trust.

Gal Pals headline the event bringing their famous queer dance party to Camden. Playing the best in female-led anthems, Gal Pals create intentional spaces for women, LGBTQI+ and non-binary people to address the lack of queer club nights for women.

But what’s a party without friends?

MC and lyricist Shunaji will be opening the show with her abstract hip hop, trip hop, lo-fi and synthwave beats, followed by the jazz infused RnB vibes of S A D I E.

Inspired by the likes of Aretha Franklin and Billie Holiday, S A D I E aims to capture a true female perspective on current sociopolitical debates on identity and relationships through her music.

Date: 25 October 2018

Time: Doors 7pm

Tickets: £10 online/£12 on the door
