A new short film from Hope Love Media tells the story of hope, love, and loss and the struggle to present your true self to others. The Day That She Died is a moving and heartbreaking story that shares a reality faced by far too many every day.
Starring Stacey Raymond and Rose-Emma Lunderman, The Day That She Died tells the story of two young women, Sam and Bailey, who are very much in love. While Sam is ready to start a new life with Bailey, Bailey is reluctant because of her father’s stance on homosexuality.
After Sam finally voices her feelings and leaves Bailey’s apartment, Bailey makes a decision she can never come back from.
Written and directed by Sabra Wrice and filmed in three days, this short film looks at how destructive choosing fear over love can be.
