Aqua Girl™ 19 Heats Up The Fall With New Dates

Miami Beach will soon be the place to be as thousands of women who love women will descend upon the shores of South Beach for the largest charity women’s week in the country.

This year Aqua Girl™ has moved its dates to Sept. 27 -Oct. 01 2018 to attract “snowbirds” from the east and mid-west, as well as, women from all over the country, the Americas and around the globe. This year marks 19 years of giving back to the community and celebrating equality.

With nine cultural events, and parties to satisfy an array of tastes, everyone can join in the fun.

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Aqua Foundation for Women, the not-for-profit-foundation whose primary focus is to promote the equality, strength, health, and visibility o lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer women. Everyone who attends gets to enjoy themself and do good at the same time;

Aqua Girl™ organizers and their team of dedicated volunteers have created what is recognized worldwide as one of the best Women’s festivals in the world. This year’s celebration brings back the founder of Aqua Girl™, Alison Burgos, along with Yesi Leon and Amy Alonso of Pandora Events and Lynn Bové of iCandee Events; all who were part of the inception of Aqua Girl™. “I am elated to come back and bring old and new friends together to create a reinvigorated Aqua Girl festival that is modern, and fresh.” — stated Alison Burgos.

Aside from all the fabulous off-site events, the real action is at the exclusive oceanfront host resort, The National Hotel, this Art Deco landmark in the heart of South Beach, is newly renovated with posh rooms, modern amenities and one of the most beautiful pools on South Beach. Stay and play at the resort during Aqua Girl weekend and enjoy rates that start at just $155 a night and the pool parties all weekend are free for hotel guests.

The line up of hosts, djs/producers and performers will be sure to set the stage on fire every day with performances by Grammy nominated singer/writer, Leslie Cartaya and appearances by Vogue covergirl and singer, Madison Paige, you tube sensation, Amber’s Closet, Real L Word alumni, Rose Garcia, all taking on hosting duties, and beats day and night by DJ/Producer Whitney Day (LA), DJ Toni K (Atlanta), DJ/Producer Citizen Jane (MIA), DJ Zehno (MIA), DJ Miss M (Vancouver), DJ DLux (ORD), DJ Laura D (MIA), DJ Bonnie Beats (MIA), DJ/Producer CINDEL (CHI).
