Curve is coming to a festival near you!

Being among our community has been our objective for 2013 and we hope you have been able to take advantage of discount subscriptions, sample magazines and information about Curve at your local Pride!

This has been an amazing year for the Curve Events team!  Coast to coast we have been attending Pride events meeting and greeting our Curve fans, and even the newbie’s who have never even heard of Curve (gasp!) Each event we attend allows us to extend amazing energy across the globe with the use of Curve’s growth in social media. Through to use of Curve’s Facebook page, we have brought each event directly to you through live posts.

Our largest weekend to date and by far the most electric was during the official Pride month of June.  During the last weekend, Curve was represented at five events, two of which are the largest Pride’s in the US. 

Both San Francisco and New York City Pride’s bring attendees in the millions and we were there representing on each coast!  That same weekend we were also in Lexington, KY, Albuquerque, NM and North Shore, MA. Managing five events in one weekend took an amazing team across the US and we are sincerely appreciative for everyone who made these events a HUGE success!

Curve has recognized the need to be in attendance at events so that we can personally meet and connect with our fans while offering discounted Pride rates. We are hoping that this approach has enabled many more people to subscribe to the best selling lesbian magazine in the U.S. and for some, become familiar with our magazine for the very first time! 

There seems to be an overwhelming “missing link” when Curve is not involved in our community and we are working hard to change this scenario. We welcome Pride organizers to contact us and let us know what events they would like Curve to attend!

So often, I have been working a Pride event and a member of the community comes up to me and genuinely states that they are glad Curve is there. We realize that Curve has been absent, but we promise we are becoming more involved each and every day. 

Our event season is by no means over yet, but I want to thank the numerous photographers who have caught the live action for us, our social media team who has made a positive impact on the events we have attended and most certainly the volunteers who run our booths and made this quest a reality!

I extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who have helped Curve reach our fans, new and old.
