Hang onto your hats and get ready to laugh—hard. The U.S. theatrical release of The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls is here.

This award-winning documentary by Leanne Pooley  tells the story of the world’s only comedic, singing, yodeling lesbian twin sisters, Lynda and Jools Topp, whose brand of hilarity and political awareness has charmed antipodean audiences for thirty years.

Hailing from New Zealand but celebrated around the world, this irrepressible Kiwi duo is part vaudeville act, part activists, and we are lucky to have them here: especially after Jools’ battle with cancer (needless to say, she won).

As well as rare archival footage and home movies, the documentary treats us to the twins’ best-loved characters, including Camp Mother and Camp Leader, the Bowling Ladies, socialite sisters Prue and Dilly, and man-drag double act, the Two Kens.
