Chelsea Handler hosted the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards at the Hilton San Francisco, June 9, 2009.

The nights winners included Trans American Love Story and I Want to Work for Diddy which tied for Outstanding Reality Program, accepting were Laverne Cox and Calpernia Addams, respectively. Co-writer and producer Charo Toledo accepted the award for Outstanding Televison Movie, East Side Story. 

The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

It's Laverne Cox not Veronica. Again the trans woman's name who tied with Calpernia Addams is Laverne Cox
