Miley Cyrus And Her Gay Rights Tattoo

Cyrus went public with her new tattoo over the weekend – an equal-sign tattoo on her ring finger.

She tweeted the photo with the message, “All LOVE is equal.” The photo prompted a debate on her Twitter account with fans tweeting such things as, “Look up Leviticus, 1 Corinthians.

Read both chapters and tell me where God says homosexuality, incest, and polygamy is ok?” Cyrus shot back, “Where does it say in the Bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge, honey. GOD is love.”

You tell ‘em Hannah Montana.

While Cyrus is a self-labeled Christian, she has stood up for gay rights in the past, saying that one of the reasons she quit Twitter for a time was because she was getting angry with tweets from fans that didn’t agree with her support of gay marriage.

“There has been so much controversy sometimes about what I’ve said or done because I believe there are no mistakes, because God is the only one who can judge us,” Cyrus explained. “That’s the reason I deleted my Twitter account because I said on there that I believed in gay marriage because everyone should have the right to love each other, and I got such hate mail about my being a bad person.”

She has been back on Twitter since earlier this year and we like what she’s saying.
