What We Do For Love

A new short film, Aprille/Desirae, explores the little things in a difficult relationship that will determine the turn it will take.

I’m pretty sure we have all been there before. Fawning and pining over someone we can’t have because they’re married.

Or straight. We sometimes feel that we could do grand gestures and go to extremes to make that person notice us and, perhaps, leave their significant other for us.

In a new lesbian short film, director Bishon Sen illuminates the story of two women in a relationship.

But one happens to be married to someone else. Aprille/Desirae views a snapshot of their affair when Aprille decides to confront Desirae regarding their potential future together.

Filming took place in the wide-open Kentucky countryside withits picturesque rural roads, canoes and an abundance of sunshine, creating an atmosphere of southern charm and glamour.

The cinematography beautifully capturesthe location to offer a stunning picture to go along with the tribulations of the relationship at hand.

The film is now in its final stages of post-production and needs your help!

The Kickstarter campaign is attempting to raise funds to complete the process and submit to local and international film festivals.
