Fund This: Restore Re/Dress

Fat-shionista Rachel Kacenjar sets out to restore a beloved plus-size clothing store.

Rachel Kacenjar has plus-size ambitions: the fat-shionista and designer hopes to restore Re/Dress—a vintage and modern clothing store devoted to plus-size folks of all identities. Kacenjar will launch an online store this April, with hopes of achieving brick-and-mortar glory in 2014.

In the past, Re/Dress has been an inspiration to many women who have walked out wearing a pair of “teggings” (the brightly colored lovechild of leggings and tights). Kacenjar’s new goals for Re/Dress will put an emphasis on variety, offering more masculine styles for “folks who dress in more flavors than feminine” and featuring models of all ages and colors. She aims to celebrate people in all their fabulous forms.

But dont take our word for it, check out Kacenjar's message to would-be funders below. And be sure to stop by their  IndieGoGo campaign page to scope out and claim your funders perk.
