Arizona welcomes Gay Days to Phoenix on May 8-12 for 4 days of fun in the sun, hosted by the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa

This spring Gay Days will be turning up the heat in Arizona, and that’s saying something. Did you miss The Dinah and still want to have a crazy good time partying in the sun with other LGBT’ers? Grab some sunscreen, a bathing suit and get ready to have a blast in Phoenix, because Gay Days is expanding again. The Gay Days brand—which started over 24 years ago in Orlando and has grown in attendance to more than 160,000, now has a new home in the Arizona desert, where organizers anticipate having 10,000 attendees its first year.

Ladies, this is a big deal and a party, or shall I say parties, that you won’t want to miss. There will be 15 different Gay Days Arizona events during 4 full days at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, located at the beautiful South Mountain Park and Preserve, only 10 minutes from Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport.

Did we mention that the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is the state’s only AAA Four Diamond and M&C Gold Key award-winning, all-suite resort? The resort features a challenging 18-hole golf course, an expansive athletic club, a luxury spa and salon, an exhilarating seven-acre water park, and six unique dining venues – creating the complete resort experience for every visitor.

There will be daily pool parties and happy hours, nightly Diversity Dinners, Drag Queen Bingo, pool volleyball, an 80s-themed SplashDance party at the Arizona Grand’s seven-acre Oasis Water Park, and a masquerade-style, high-energy dance party in the 20,000-square-foot pavilion, all located on the resort property. DJs from Arizona, Las Vegas and beyond – including DJ Sweat, DJ Tsunami & DJ J. Diesel will be spinning the decks.

There will also be a Community Expo hosted by 40 LGBT-friendly vendors and a “Taste of Gay Days” event, offering samples from some of the best LGBT-friendly dining venues in the Phoenix area.

Got to have your tee time? No worries, Gay Days Arizona will hosting be the Diversity Cup Golf Tournament, which will include 18 holes of golf for 20 teams, benefitting the local nonprofit, Phoenix Pride Foundation.
