Comments
The story takes place in Paris in 2021. It is a political movie which shows the boiling social climate, between the destruction of the French NHS and the anger of the “yellow vests”. Raphaëlle and Julie are just like any other couple on the verge of separation, with a toxic communication which sometimes comes as a comical relief to the viewer. The director, Catherine Corsini, identifies herself as bisexual.
Marina Foïs (Julie) is an ally to the LGBT cause.
