Set in an alternate contemporary USA where witches are *the* army, gender roles are reversed, and queer characters abound, MFS is also a racially diverse, somewhat-dark dystopian allegory of contemporary racism, trans- and homophobia. The creator is a self-identified queer man with an amazing sensitivity in representing strong cis-women and trans and non-binary people. Several of the actors are out, although non of the protagonist is.

I am not sure why this ongoing TV series has flown under the radar so much, even thought it is one of the most diverse, queerest, most feminist series on TV right now. Because of its lack of massive viewership, it may be discontinued after the next (3rd season). There have been many petitions circulating trying to get it to stay on for more seasons, but it doesn’t seem like it will be successful.

I encourage you to add it to your list and to advertise it widely.
