This show is in the sci-fi category, but the characters are more than just their sexual identity. I enjoyed watching the way in which a lesbian couple was able to show their love as being “normal” and not defined by society’s labels.
Lauren is played by Zoie Palmer and is indeed a lesbian who is openly with her partner Alex.
