This is hands down the best all-round lesbian film I’ve seen – ticking all the boxes:- great script; great acting; authenticity; slow moving and beautifully shot.

The fact it’s written and directed by a lesbian (Hoorah! So many dumb ‘lesbian movies being directed by straight men of course and therefore usually pretty ridiculous and frustrating to watch!)

‘Kiss Me’ is originally Swedish and with the title ‘Kyss Mig’.
(Subtitled perfectly for an international audience.)

Essentially the lead character is due to marry (a man) but has tried to avoid the fact that she is a lesbian … until she meets her soon-to-be step-mother’s daughter. Beautifully acted. A MUST SEE!

Also great soundtrack (featuring ‘Robyn’). Also this movie was so well produced it attracted some of the biggest names in Swedish screen acting, who play the roles of the father and the Mother of the main characters respectively.

Director / Screenplay by: Alexandra-Therese Keining (lesbian).

I can’t believe this movie was not already included on the Curve List! – Louise 🙂
