In this photo spread, Elodie Hekimian-brogan captures the energy and excitement of The Dinah 2025, creating a visual archive of the last edition of this iconic lesbian event under the auspices of founder and producer Mariah Hanson.

The event, held at the Riviera Resort & Spa in Palm Springs from September 24-28, featured musical performances by Princess Nokia, Crystal Waters, and DJs, plus appearances by The L Word stars Kate Moennig and Leisha Hailey, and special guests from Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Queer Love. There were pool parties, dance parties, a photo booth, a book signing, and a collective outpouring of love in this final edition of the multi-day event after 34 years. ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Elodie Hekimian-brogan, 22, is a Los Angeles-based photographer studying at the UCLA Art School. Her work is rooted in intimacy and representation through documentation, specifically documenting queer and lesbian spaces in Los Angeles. Elodie’s photography process relies on her closeness with subjects, thus resulting in moments that can only be captured when respect and communication are involved. As a result, her work is based on connection, allowing the audience to step into intimate moments in underrepresented communities. She has been exhibited at the Getty Museum and LGBTQ+ Center in San Francisco.
