FeedWanda Sykes and Wife Welcome Twins

It’s been a big couple of weeks for out comic Wanda Sykes. First, she absolutely killed at the White House Annual Correspondents Dinner, and now she’s revealed to People that she’s become the proud parent of twins.
Sykes’ wife, Alex, gave birth to the fraternal twins, a girl named Olivia Lou (6 pounds, 7 ounces) and a boy, Lucas Claude (7 pounds, 9 ounces) on April, 27.
People reports that, according to Sykes’ rep, “All are happy and healthy and at home."
The two married back on Oct. 25, 2008 in California before the passing of Prop. 8 robbed same-sex couples of the right to wed in the state. Shortly after the measure passed, Sykes came out publicly at a Las Vegas gay rights rally.

That's awesome! Wanda Sykes is so funny on The New Adventures of Old Christine. I'm so impressed that she came out publicly when she didn't have to in order to support same-sex marriage. It's nice to have a celebrity who walks the talk instead of living on the DL.
