The famous lesbian couple will be aided by 60 volunteers for their five infants.

According to a report by NineMSN, this lesbian family of eight is “really pushing the envelope” and “raising a few hackles”.

They’re also challenging the stereotype of what constitutes a family in Australia.

A family they certainly are, and a big one at that. The couple, Rosemary Nolan, 22, and Melissa Keevers, 27, have reached out to a volunteer support program to help with parenting duties, as they have five infants and one toddler.

An article by Woman’s Day noted that the volunteers will be needed between 8am and 10pm each day, as the two moms need help with the care of sons Noah and Charlie, and daughters Eireann, Evie and Abby.

The babies were conceived through artificial insemination with sperm donated by an anonymous American donor.
