Exclusive to CURVE - Manic Pixipremiere video for“Kiss Me”

Exclusive premiere of the fun new music video for Manic Pixi’s latest single “Kiss Me”

Manic Pixi (formerly Sugar Bomb) is the brainchild of Brooklyn basedduo Kat Hamilton (vocals) and Emmett Ceglia (Drums). The latest single from their album Sugar Bomb! “Kiss Me” was released in March 2014 and the band has teamed up with Yacht Club Productions to bring this song to life in celluloid by creating a wild, fun and energetic video.

The production featuring kissing couples(with lots of tongue!) and the band bouncing across the screen is whimsical and inclusive, without limiting the couples to lesbians alone. What we get as a resultis a raw unadulterated make-out session, made authentic with friends of the band coming out to play.Being filmed at the Silent Barn in Bushwick, Brooklyn adds to the creative vibe.

Compared to classic grunge-pop outfits such asGreenday, Hole and No Doubt,Manic Pixi currently performs as a four-piece band with Hamilton, Ceglia, guitarist Marshall Biever, and bassist Drew Bastian.  Their album will be hotly anticipated and one to put straight ontoyour playlistwhen it’s released this September.
