Are you an older lesbian who feels overskilled in today’s workforce?Are you over 40 and have been out of work and need to brush up on today’s skills? Don’t worry, SAGEWorks, the peak body that assists our 40+ LGBTs, can help!
SAGEWorks’ fourth Boot Camp is scheduled to begin March 2, 2015. The two week program is for job seekers ages 40 and up. The professionally developed program is an intensive training course designed to provide participants with essential skills that will help them in job hunting.
Enrollment is limited to 20 and is by application.
Although the target is the LGBT community, the program is open to all. Taught by Howard Leifman, human resources consultant and career executive coach, this boot camp will cover numerous topics such as the realities of today’s job market, resume and interviews, conducting a modern job search, social media and networking, and communication skills and selling yourself.
