Everyone Is Gay, an organization that provides advice, support, and laughter to LGBTQIA youth has released an electronic care package to help LGBTQIA young people take care of themselves throughout the holiday season.

The holiday season can be a difficult and stressful  for LGBTQIA youth, particularly if it is spend in an un-supportive or hostile environment.

In light of the US election, many members of the LGBTQIA community are feeling nervous and afraid about the upcoming holidays.

Self care is vital for this reason. “Where the Love Light Gleams” aims to equip young LGBTQIA people with support, advice, and self-care tools to remind them that they are not alone.

“Where The Love Light Gleams” was released on December 13 and includes advice on staying safe and surviving the holiday season with un-supportive family members, a music playlist created by Jenny Owen Youngs, a holiday-themed coloring page, journaling page, and a comic all designed by Brittney Williams with artwork by Kate Leth. The care package also includes a crossword puzzle created by Carrie Wade!

The e-care package will be available free of charge, on an ongoing basis, by using the sing-up form and information found here
