Telluride Gay Ski Week

A great girls’ getaway.

There’s a bunch of Gay Ski Weeks you can go to around the world, but few are female-owned and organized, or have much on hand of interest for the girls. Wendy Jacobs Hampton, Owner-Event Producer of Telluride Gay Ski Week, has breathed new life into an event that will make your winter shine!

This sparkling, week-long event presents a festive, fun-packed schedule, including: Launch Dance Party on a mountain outdoor deck, a popup Opening Cocktail party at boutique Arroyo Gallery & Wine Bar, an Après Ski Pool Party at Madeline Sky Terrace, an exclusive Telluride Sleigh Ride including a Spanish-Basque meal in the “glamping” style tent, daily excursions, snowmobile tours, champagne lunch, Tomboy Tavern, Tequila Tuesday, fashion show, shopping, dining, iconic White Party… and a whole lot more!

Queer and bi women can mix and mingle at the Ladies Cocktail Reception
Venue, and later enjoy karaoke with your newfound friends—and Grammy Award winner Shawn Colvin. How cool is it to be free to sing along with one of our favorite singer-songwriters (remember Colvin's hit “Sunny Came Home”)? There’s even more on the menu of Telluride Gay Ski Week, including power yoga, an art auction, relaxing spa time, and a yummy farewell brunch.

But before you say goodbye, you can’t miss the legendary lesbian performer (and erstwhile loudmouth-we-love!) Sandra Bernhard in her new show, Feel the Bernhard. Our Sandy is making a rare appearance at Telluride Gay Ski Week with the hit show that she debuted at the legendary venue, Joe’s Pub in New York City.

So get your skis on and hit the slopes for this glamorous, high altitude, and girl-centric event!
