This year marks the twentieth anniversary of Patricia Nell Warren's gay best-seller, The Front Runner, which has sold ten million copies and been translated into seven languages. Warren is celebrating this milestone with the sequel, Harlan's Race. "I am pleased to embrace another generation of readers," Warren says. And that she's done -- as an adviser for YouthArts Project, an online publication for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens. "What these kids want more than anything is for adults in our community to take an interest in them," Warren says. The founder of Wildcat Press, Warren plans to publish several young writers this year. "I got support and was published when I was seventeen," she says. "And now I just want to give a little back."
