CURVE Magazine Gets the Party Started With Huge Women’s Parties at Chicago’s Gay Games VII
As tens of thousands of people converge on Chicago for Gay Games VII, July 15-22, CURVE magazine will host its own Girl Games — the hottest women’s parties at the Gay Games — where women from around the globe can feel the energy, celebrate the Games and its athletes, and meet some of the fabulous celebrities profiled in CURVE, the best-selling lesbian magazine.
It’s bottoms up as women from all over kick off the Games at the Welcome Reception, honoring Lambda Legal and sponsored by CURVE and ChixMix, on Friday, July 14 at Speakeasy Supper Club. On Sunday, July 16, Transit Nightclub will be the location of the Black Bra Internationale, Chicago’s wildest and sexiest annual dance party with thousand of sexy women sporting black bras, dancing to wild beats and live DJs, and featuring exotic dancers Gravity Plays Favorites. Special guests include comic Suzanne Westenhoefer.
After a full week of competitions and performances, women can celebrate their victories at the aptly named Score! A ChixMix circuit party, Score!, held Friday July 21, will keep the Circuit Night Club (in the heart of the Windy City’s gayborhood) hopping until 4 a.m.
Saturday, July 22 is the grand finale: CURVE Magazine’s Official Gay Games Women’s Closing Party, Adrenaline. As the Games wind down, women can get the party started at 7:00 p.m. at Metro/Smart Bar, just two blocks from closing ceremonies at Wrigley Field. Meet the new star of The L Word, Janina Gavankar! Celebrity guests also include Iyari Limon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), God-Des & She (The L Word), CURVE Magazine’s Lipstick & Dipstick, and singer/songwriter Doria Roberts (performing “Perfect”). With a special appearance direct from Los Angeles and the Girl Bar Dinah Shore, it’s the sexy Girl Bar Go-Go dancers and DJ Kathy Valenti. Plus: special performances and secret guests. You won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime party.
The Girl Games Party Pass is the only pass you’ll need for access to the hottest women’s events at Gay Games VII. Choose from either a $70 Party Pass or a $90 VIP Party Pass.
