Kristy Lee also known as the "Southern Original" had her first national album at age 18. Her music is hard to put any one category. The music is a blend of country, blues, and rock. She almost always is seen in jeans, a baseball cap, and a bandana. Kristy Lee is a singer and songwriter from Alabama. She will be on tour next year starting in February. Kristy Lee will also be at the 30A Songwriters Festival 2014 3 day festival in Northwest Florida.
Her new album Raise the Dead came out in May 2012, after 10 years of not writing or recording anything. She had suffered a loss. The new album is about life experience, doing what makes you happy, and getting up after you fall. There are 9 songs on the album and they range in different emotions. They are a mixture of country, blues, and rock. Today Is The Day is a uplifting song. 12 Steps is about leaving her girlfriend. I really liked Ride or Die and She's Not My Blood.
Kristy Lee's music is on Itunes or you can go to her website and buy her cd. You can also go to her website www.Kristyleemusic.com and see her live performances
