The Gay Days brand expands once again; this time landing in sunny Phoenix Arizona.

The brand which started over 25 years ago in Orlando has continuously grown to over 160,000 attendees and expanded west to Las Vegas in 2012 with over 45,000 attendees. With this expansion also came Gay Days at Sea hosted by Al and Chuck Travel and now to its new home in the Phoenix desert where it anticipates over 10,000 attendees in its first year. Arizona locals at Ian Joseph Presents will be spearheading the event with the assistance of the Gay Days founders.

Gay Days Arizona is planning over 15 events during its 5 days at the Arizona Grand Resort. Located at beautiful South Mountain preserve the property is just steps from hiking trails, mountain biking, and even includes a 5k on the property for those who enjoy their daily fitness. The property is in close proximity to plenty of shopping and only 10 minutes from Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport.

Gay Days Arizona events include daily pool parties with DJ’s like Southern California’s resident DJ John Joseph, an 80’s themed SplashDance party at the Arizona Grand’s 7 acre Oasis Water Park, and a Bleached Out White Party with DJ Sweat of Arizona, located on property. Other events include a community expo hosted by 50 LGBT friendly vendors, A Taste of Gay Days event offering samples from some of the best LGBT friendly dining venues in Phoenix area.

One of the most important events to Gay Days Arizona will be their Diversity Cup Golf Tournament which will include 18 holes of golf for 36 teams benefitting Phoenix Pride.

If that wasn’t enough they are offering nightly diversity dinners, drag bingo, pool volleyball, corn hole tournament, rooftop happy hour, Women’s Day at the waterpark, and an array of daily activities for men and women.

Gay Days Arizona offers a Women’s specific pass, The Sunflower pass.  The Sunflower pass includes admission to the Launch Party, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (women’s day at the waterpark), Bleached Out White Party, SplashDance/AfterGlow, and Taste of Gay Days.

Gay Days has not forgotten about the families either. Sunday will be family day on the property starting with a special Mad Hatter style Mother’s Day brunch. Following the brunch will be a silent auction, an afternoon of fun in the sun at the water park, horseback riding and more.
