23rd Annual London Ontario Lesbian Film Festival

The 23rd Annual London Lesbian Film Festival brings together the best in film.

Discover North America’s only Lesbian Film Festival.  Three days of films, fun, and entertainment.  23 years strong and proud!

The Lesbian Film Festival is organized annually in London, Ontario, Canada by a volunteer collective of feisty lesbian, queer and bisexual women named the ‘Reeling Spinsters.'

This year’s 23rd festival runs from April 25th to April 27th, 2014 at Rainbow Cinemas, Citi Plaza.

Due to previous years of sold out film screenings, we proudly announce that this will be our first year reeling out the Lesbian Content at two (2) Rainbow Cinema theatres.

Along with 3 days of films, we host a Friday night reception, a very popular Saturday night dance, and a Sunday brunch where, this year, we will be entertained by the “funniest-lesbian ever,” comedienne Suzanne Westenhoefer.

London is ideally located along the Detroit/Windsor to Toronto corridor, allowing women from across Ontario, Canada and the United States to come for a fun filled weekend.

It is our mission to not only strengthen our community through this celebratory gathering, but to offer a unique venue to portray the richness and diversity of lesbian experiences through rare, diverse, experimental, artful, empowering and sometimes politically challenging films.

In the past few years we introduced juried and audience choice awards, a filmmaker Q&A session and a panel discussion. This year we are in the process of launching our very own film grant.

"Anyone who self-identifies as a woman is welcome to attend all film screenings and all festival events. The Sunday film screening is open to all."
