We are pleased to exclusviely premiere Rachael Sage's latest video for "Invisible Light" from her stellar album Haunted By You.
In the video, directed by Alyson Greenfield, the stunning singer-songwriter channels old Hollywood glamour in a romantic floor-length gown and is surrounded by candles as she croons in her trademark souring voice. According to Sage the concept for the video was inspired by one Sages own works of art, “The idea for the video began with a painting I'd made. It's called "Woman Reaching" and Alyson (Greenfield) was immediately captivated by it, when she saw it hanging at a Gallery Show I was doing on the Lower East Side. I think her exact words were: 'What if we made a video that depicted you as this woman you've painted...and presents you in a less campy, more soulful way than you've been in past videos?' I trusted her right away, and was also excited by the idea of her directing for the first time. There's something very infectious and powerful about her presence" It proved to be the perfect pairing of concept and song.
