Evan Rachel Wood Comes Out as Bisexual

It’s not like we didn’t see this coming.

She’s played a lesbian in several roles, including Once and Again, The Wrestler and her current role as a lesbian vampire queen on True Blood. Some earlier fans may remember her make-out scene with Nikki Read in the film Thirteen.

And now Evan Rachel Wood finally came out about her feelings for the ladies in the latest issue of Esquire, which includes a photo shoot of her smoking a cigarette in her underwear and showing off her tattoos.

She has recently moved to New York, which she said has made her feel free and “up for anything. Meet a nice guy, meet a nice girl.” This hint led Esquire to ask her if she dates women. She said yes, and proudly so. She went on to say,  “I’m more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I’m the dominant one.” She claims that her “inner North Carolina gentleman” comes out when she’s dating women because she turns on that Southern charm. “I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner,” she said. “Yeah, I’m romantic.”

 Wood also mentioned that she would marry Kate Winslet if she could.
