Birds of a Feather is an LGBT community like no other in the world located in the “Land of Enchantment”, sunny Northern New Mexico.

Our community, founded in 2004, is located on 140 acres of beautiful pine-forested property just 30 short minutes from Santa Fe. It is gated, all utilities are underground and high-speed internet is available.

We are currently offering lots ranging in size from ¼ to 3 acres for our pre-designed “casita” (southwest pueblo-style), "EcoNest" or your custom designed home. Many of these lots have magnificent views of the Sangre deCristo Mountains and all lots have large pine trees!

We are also very excited to offer a complete “healthy & green” home/lot package in phase II of our community called “Los Nidos” meaning the nests!

Buying your home in our community includes fabulous neighbors (ages 45 to 65+), access to acres of adjoining private property conserved as green space for walking/hiking, as well as a community center proposed for the future!
