New Jersey Pride is Around the Corner…

New Jersey’s 23rd Annual LGBTI Pride Celebration sponsored by Bank of America and presented by Jersey Pride will be held on Sunday, June 1st in Asbury Park, NJ.

New Jersey's 23rd Annual LGBTI Pride Celebration sponsored by Bank of America and presented by Jersey Pride will be held on Sunday, June 1st in Asbury Park, NJ. 

The Pride Celebration runs from 12 noon until 7 PM, rain or shine.

There’s no better way to celebrate your pride than to spend Sunday, June 1 with 20,000 of your closest friends.  There is a fabulous pride parade, headline performers, great food, arts and crafts, exhibits, community information, activities for the entire family, and the best in local, regional and national entertainment.

Headlining the performance stage will be one of the divas of dance,Thelma Houston, who claimed the top of the Pop, R&B and Dance charts with her high-powered rendition of "Don't Leave Me This Way".

Your co-emcee for the day will be the awarding winning celebrity host of Bravo's "The People's Couch", Scott Nevins. Scott brings his own brand of lightning quick wit and brilliant scintillation to Jersey Pride.

Also performing will be co-emcee Matt Martin, SONiA and disappear fear, The Josh Zuckerman Band, Hannah & Maggie, The Jean Navarr Band, ViRAGO, Trance Smith, Lexi Tellings, Chris James, and Jamie LeRose.

The pride parade, complete with floats, decorated vehicles, motorcycles, and hundreds of marchers, will step off at Main Street and Cookman Avenue at noon. 

The festival and entertainment grounds are located at 5th and Kingsley Avenues. The festival features more than one hundred artisans, crafters, merchants, and community organizations, as well as almost two dozen diverse offering in our Food Court. Families will enjoy games and rides in the “Family Zone”.  One of the signature attractions that Jersey Pride offers is NJ's largest outdoor display of the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt.
