This year Albuquerque Pride is celebrating marriage equality in the state of New Mexico by having Equality New Mexico as our Grand Marshall.  Equality New Mexico has played and instrumental part to make marriage equality a reality in New Mexico.  Along with Equality New Mexico many of the newly legally married same sex couples will be joining our parade to celebrate the marriage equality.  The Albuquerque Pride Parade presented by T-Mobile takes place along central ave from Girard to San Pedro.  It starts at 10:00 am and is a free event open to all ages.

Albuquerque Pride is excited to bring dance, music, expression, art, fun and diversity to PrideFest 2014.  The celebration will take place on May 31st from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm at Expo NM.  Tickets are $15 each and children 10 and under are free for this family friendly event.  This annual event averages about 10,000 people and brings people from all over the Southwest.

In addition to our three New Mexico Pride Titleholders ABQ Pride will bring many local and national talents to the Xfinity Main stage.  Alex Newell will bring his gleeful music to excite the crowd.  Beverly McClellan from The Voice will get your feet stomping.  And Colton Ford will rock the house.
