The web series’ foray into feature film is Gothic chic meets lesbian in the sheets.

If you haven’t spent a few hours of your life binging on Carmilla, the Canadian single frame queer web series co-created by Jordan Hall, starring Elise Bauman and Natasha Negovanlis, loosely based on the novella of the same name by Sheridan Le Fanu, then you need to do that, pronto.

For all of us who are already converted Carmilla fans, you’ll be pleased to know that the trailer for the Carmilla movie has now dropped.

It’ll be fascinating to see how the team negotiates a comparatively huge budget, a feature length running time as opposed to 4 min episodes, and sets that are not just one room. But from the look of the trailer, they seem to be coping just fine i.e. smashing it.

Enjoy!
