Acclaimed Film 'Heartland' Explores Lesbian Love In The Midwest

Velinda Godfrey’s latest film inspired by her own hometown.

Set in the Midwest, Heartland tells the story of Lauren, who moves back to Oklahoma to live with her mom after a tragic loss. This move is coincided with Lauren’s brother coming home with his girlfriend Carrie to launch a local winery.

 

This film explores the kindling of attraction between Lauren and Carrie, and is sure to warm your heart as the two unlock a zest for life in one another.
