Lesbians Sweep the Daytime Emmys
We’re infiltrating daytime and terrorizing a housewife near you. Three shows with lesbians scored big at the Daytime Emmys: Good Morning America (Outstanding Morning Program), The Talk (Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Hosts) and The Ellen Show (Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show). Out-standing indeed. A pun! Har har har. I U-Hauled this weekend (for the first time ever, because I am a freak lesbian) so my brain is dead, my body is broken, I’ve barely the strength to carve a trail through the refuse.
Orange Is The New Black Leaked By Hackers
Hackers attempted to blackmail Netflix over leaked episodes of the upcoming season of Orange Is The New Black. They eventually leaked the episodes online, but you shouldn’t watch them because:
a. The television you pay dollars a month for is exorbitantly expensive and if you like something, support it, or it will disappear.
b. Chill it’s coming out in a couple months.
Whitney Houston Was Bisexual
Whitney: Can I Be Me premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and confirmed long-running rumors that Whitney Houston was bisexual. Whitney was involved with Robyn Crawford, her assistant, and best friend. “I don’t think she was gay, I think she was bisexual,” Houston’s longtime friend and stylist Ellin Lavar says in the film. Lavar adds: “Robyn provided a safe place for her…in that Whitney found safety and solace.” New and in-depth interviews with Houston’s friends and family confirm the romance.
Lesbian Stephanie Rice Rocks The Voice
She’s talented, gorgeous and gay. Stephanie Rice is dominating in the ever popular, competitive singing competition The Voice. Stephanie is already inspiring a fierce fandom among queer and straight views alike. She’s even charmed the parents of LGBTQ children. Stephanie was disowned by her own parents for being gay. Serendipitydodah for Moms, a group for Christian mothers who support LGBTQ children, wrote Stephanie a beautiful open letter expressing their support:
"We are writing to you because we want you to know that we were encouraged when you shared your story on The Voice. Of course, we are sad and broken hearted to hear about the way your parents abandoned and rejected you, but we are so thankful that you are willing to share your story because we believe it is important for others to hear stories like your own. We also want to let you know we care about you and recognize the courage it took for you to share your story publicly. We are moms who understand because some of our own children have had to exhibit the same kind of courage when they finally determined to come out and begin living fully into the person they were created to be."
Cara Delevingne Shares Cover Of V Magazine
Cara Delevingne is co-starring in Valerian, a badass upcoming sci-fi blockbuster. In honor of her transformation from supermodel to A-List Actress, V Magazine slapped her on the cover. To cap off the glamor, Delevingne was photographed by Chanel Designer and fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. Ever the overachiever, Delevingne wasn’t content to simply act in the movie, “When I hear that there’s an option that I can do it instead of a stunt person, I’m always like, ‘Please let me do it! Throw me off the building, I like that!’”
Amandla Stenberg Is One Of People’s Most Beautiful
Bisexual actor Amandla Stenberg posed without makeup for PEOPLE’s annual World’s Most Beautiful issue. In the interview, Stenberg revealed that they are not specifically tied to one gender:
"I tend to believe that gender as we’ve set it up in current-day society doesn’t actually exist. I’ve said before that I’m comfortable with using the pronouns ‘they’ or ‘them’ alongside ‘she’ and ‘her’ just because that’s a conversation that’s important to me. I don’t necessarily always subscribe to female pronouns just because I don’t think that pronouns are necessarily very meaningful."
Ellen Celebrates 20 Years Of Being Out
Time changes everything. Twenty years have passed since Ellen DeGeneres came out on screen and off, making lesbian history and setting off a firestorm that ended her show and, for a while, stagnated her career. Ellen came out in the infamous “Puppy Episode” alongside Oprah Winfrey. The women reunited for a very special episode of Ellen to reminisce.
